Baked Cinnamon French Toast

is a classic. Slices of white, brown or raisin bread are
included
in whisked eggs and milk, then cooked
within
the
oven for approximately 30 minutes. Save time and soak bread in advance
of time,
maintaining refrigerated till geared
up
to bake.

Ingredients

  •  6 slices of   wheat
    or raisin bread
  •  1 tsp. cinnamon powder
  •  Three eggs
  •  ½ Cup 
    milk
  •  ½ Cup  maple syrup or SIMPLE
     syrup 2 tbsp
  •  Butter or margarine 1 tsp 
  •  Vanilla essence 4 drops
  •  Fruit and maple syrup (optional)

 Instructions

 Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spray thirteen
x 9-inch (33 x 23) baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange bread slices to
match
in
single
layer in dish; sprinkle cinnamon over bread. Whisk eggs, milk, syrup, butter
and vanilla in medium bowl
simply till blended. Pour evenly over bread. Bake without
delay
or cover and refrigerate several
hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350°F
(180°C) oven
till company to the touch, approximately 30 minutes. Serve with fruit and ma
